New Student Visits

Visit the Virginia Tech Blacksburg campus in-person before the start of your academic journey!

New Student Visits are an optional part of the orientation experience that take place on Virginia Tech's campus over the summer. This day-long experience is for new students and their family members to come get acclimated with campus, learn more about Virginia Tech resources, and connect with other students before the fall semester. They will take place in the Moss Arts Center, and programming for the day will start at 10:30AM and conclude at 4:30PM. Check-in will open at 9:30AM with separate sessions dedicated for students and others dedicated to families happening concurrently.

Please note that New Student Visit sessions on Thursdays are VIRTUAL. These online NSVs will be hosted via Zoom and have an alternate, 2-hour schedule.
