Virginia Tech College of Science Information Sessions and Tours

The College of Science (COS) Information Session includes an overview of the COS including majors, programs, and student stories. In-person visits include a facilities tour and virtual visits include a student Q&A. 

To register for an information session, select an available date from the calendar. If you have a conflict with the info session time, please contact COS Recruiting. An alternate date and time may be able to be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

If you are visiting on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday when information sessions are not available, please fill out the COS Visit Request Form to request an individual visit. NOTE: Through the month of August, we are permitting individual visit requests on Mondays and Fridays in addition to Tuesday - Thursday. 

College of Science Fall 2026 Visits will take place on Mondays and Fridays starting September 4th and run through the end of the Fall semester. September visits will be live in early August. October and November sessions will be live in early September.

Fall 2026 COS Information Sessions and Tours will be unavailable on the following dates: September 7, 25, October 9, and November 6, 9, 23, 27.

We do not offer visits on weekends. If you would like to visit on a weekend, we recommend attending one of our campus-wide admissions and recruitment events.
