Virginia Tech College of Science Information Sessions and Tours

The College of Science (COS) Information Session includes a general overview of the COS. In-person visits include a tour and virtual visits include a Q&A. 

To register for an information session, select an available date from the calendar. If you have a time conflict with the info session time, please contact COS Recruiting. An alternate date and time may be able to be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

If you are visiting on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday when information sessions are not available, please fill out the COS Visit Request Form to request an individual visit. During January 5 - 22, 2026 and during the university's Spring Break (March 9 - 13, 2026), the College of Science will only offer individual visits by request Monday through Friday.

The College of Science will not host information sessions/tours the Friday and Monday before and after the following university-wide events:

• Hokie Focus: Saturday & Sunday, March 21-22, 2026
• Spring Open House: Saturday & Sunday, April 25-26, 2026

The College of Science will offer daily information sessions and student panel Q&As for both prospective and offered students during Virginia Tech's High School Spring Break event(March 30 - April 3 and April 6 - 10, 2026). If you plan to visit during this event, please register for your sessions here: High School Spring Break Registration

We do not offer visits on weekends. If you would like to visit on a weekend, we recommend attending one of our campus-wide admissions and recruitment events.
